The legendary artist Traidmarc, surprises his fans with a brand new single, Rise Again. According to the rapper, the concept of the song comes from his personal struggles and challenges, “I’ve experiences tremendous pain in my life, and to become someone in life you must go through certain things that makes you strong”, he added.
Traidmarc is no stranger to struggles and pain. His last album ‘The Epilog’ chronicles the events leading up to his marriage and relationship breakdown in 2018. In ‘Rise Again’, Traidmarc demonstrates a certain level of maturity both musically and emotionally. He urges youngsters to put down arms and rethink their future, while condemning gangsterism.
This tune strikes a perfect balance between the contemporary modern day urban artist with old school hip hop. It bolsters sounds akin to 2Pac’s ‘I Ain’t Mad at Ya’ or ‘It Ain’t Easy’ from Me Against The World album released in March 1995 by Interscope Records and Jive Records. In the third verse of Rise Again, Traidmarc gives the late DMX a tribute and recalls the actions he took after hearing of his demise.
