Australia-based Nigerian born rapper Traidmarc launches his 24 track deluxe album – The Epilog. Fans all around the world have received it with excitement and it has gained the attention of top media houses in West Africa, Nigeria where Traidmarc comes from originally.
In an exclusive interview with NTA2 (National Television Authority) earlier this week, Traidmarc revealed that the making of The Epilog tested his relationship with long-term Brazillian girlfriend Thais. “There were nights when I never went to bed with my girl because I was in the studio working until 5AM in the morning, I’d come out of the studio and it was daylight outside already” he added.
Also in another interview with Channels Television, Traidmarc talks about his journey to Nigeria, 13 years ago and his knowledge of the music scene back home. He acknowledged that Afro-beats genre is the dominant sound currently in Nigeria but pointed that his fans and following in Nigeria is equally strong. When asked about any future collaborations in the works, he did not divulge much information but rather alluded to the possibility and said “if the stars align or the Sulston’s prophesy comes true” – in his own words.
